Each year children from Year 2 to Year 6 are given the opportunity to apply to become a member of our Eco Council. Children all complete an application form with their best ideas and plans for the coming year. These are read out in classes to the rest of the children and an anonymous vote happens. 

Our current Eco Council members are:

Class 4 - Eleanor and Layla

Class 5 - Cory and Kenzie-Eli

Class 6 - Azaan and Mujtaba

Class 7 - Jack and Murtaza 

Currently Eco Council are working towards obtaining the Live Simply Award with CAFOD with 2 main actions. 

1. Encourage the community to make their own live simply pledges-please see information below and send your pledges to school though email or the Facebook page.

2. Challenging people to live on £1 for a day-keep your eye on this page and Facebook for further information. 

Eco Council are asking people in the community to make their own 'Live Simply' pledges alongside us as a school. Taking care of our common home is more important than ever now and the children have been looking at ways to do this in school as well as at home.

What can you do at home to make a small difference - if everybody pledged to do just one thing, think of the impact this could begin to have.
