A very warm welcome to you and thank you for coming to see what has been happening recently in our wonderful Nursery! We have 2 sessions; one in a morning called Class 1 and the other in an afternoon called Class 2. Some children stay with us for the morning, some for the afternoon and some all day.
We hope that you will find out lots about us but if you do have any questions at all, please do message Miss Hill on Class Dojo or contact the school office and Mrs Lee will get a message to us.
Thank you

🌟 Nursery News: People Who Help Us! 🌟
This week in Nursery, our learning has been all about “People Who Help Us” — and what an exciting week it has been! The children explored the many different ways we can help each other, our community, and even the world around us.
🐦 Caring for Wildlife in Forest School
In Forest School, the children became little nature heroes by making their very own bird feeders. We talked about how helping animals is just as important as helping people, and the children showed wonderful teamwork while creating feeders to support the birds living nearby. We can’t wait to see which woodland visitors come to enjoy their tasty treats!
🕵️♂️ Detectives in the Mud Kitchen
Our outdoor area turned into a real investigation scene this week! The children transformed into detectives, searching for clues around the mud kitchen. We looked carefully at footprints, marks and hidden signs to work out who might have visited our muddy area. The children showed brilliant curiosity and problem-solving skills as they made their predictions.
👮 Role-Play: Police Officers
Back indoors, the children loved stepping into the role of police officers, learning about how the police help keep us safe. Using hats, notebooks, and role-play props, they created their own imaginative scenarios—from helping lost teddies to directing “traffic” around the classroom!
✍️ Developing Fine Motor Skills
Throughout the week, we also explored mark-making in lots of different ways. The children used pencils, chalk, paintbrushes, sticks, and even water to make marks and form patterns. These activities help strengthen fine motor skills, which are important for early writing and drawing.
We are so proud of how engaged, enthusiastic, and imaginative the children have been. They have shown that helpers come in many forms — and that even our youngest learners can make a big difference.
